MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman was arrested after police say her fingerprint was found on a bottle of lotion left during a Walgreens theft over a year ago.
According to reports, on December 4, 2023, Memphis Police responded to 8046 Macon Road in Cordova. Officers were told that three women entered the business at around 3 a.m., filled shopping carts with merchandise, and ran out of the store without paying for the items.

The merchandise was valued at around $1,500.
After looking over security footage, officers found a bottle of Aquaphor lotion that had been dropped in the parking lot by one of the women.
On May 31 of this year, the MPD says they matched the fingerprint found on the lotion bottle to 30-year-old Sedtrice Curry.
In June, Curry allegedly told police she had never shopped at the Cordova store before. She was taken into custody on Tuesday and charged with Theft of Property $1,000-$2,500.
