DECATUR, Ga. — A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder after he allegedly shot and killed a 16-year-old who was breaking into a vehicle owned by the man, DeKalb County Police said.
Officers responded to a neighborhood in Decatur on Glen Hollow Lane on Dec. 13 after they got a call about a person shot. When they arrived, they found a 16-year-old boy dead in the parking lot.
The investigation from detectives showed that the 16-year-old was breaking into 21-year-old Josiah Lester’s car. That’s when police said Lester pulled out a gun and shot the teen to death. He then ran from the scene but has since been taken into custody…
