Tennessee Governor Authorized $10,000 Reward In Unsolved Homicide of Innocent Man

Terrell Ray had never been in trouble with his entire life, the Murfreesboro Police Department reports.

On August 2, 2019, 30-year-old Terrell pulled into the parking lot of his girlfriend’s condominium around 3:00 am, after celebrating his 30th birthday, at the Villager Condos on Middle Tennessee Boulevard in his 2006 Camaro. Terrell was shot multiple times in the back, and the suspect(s) stole his car and fled the scene, the Murfreesboro Police Department reports.

Terrell was born on August 1, the day before he was killed.

The Camaro was found on the same day on 46th Street in Nashville, Tennessee.

Authorities believe Terrell put up a struggle and was the random victim of a robbery.

In 2023, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee authorized a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Terrell Ray.
