BOSTON (WWLP) – Governor Maura Healey announced the date for her State of the Commonwealth address
Healey will deliver her speech before an audience of lawmakers and be broadcast for people at home on January 16th to reflect on the prior year and lay out policy priorities for the year ahead.
Some of these will include Healey’s annual budget plans for the fiscal year 2026, which she must file by January 22nd. The State of the Commonwealth speech dates all the way back to 1830.
