Chilly mornings and cool afternoons will be the rule through the weekend, as winter arrives early Saturday morning. The next rain chance arrives Christmas Eve and should be out of here by Christmas Day and the first day of Hanukkah.
Friday begin with temperatures in the upper 20s to upper 30s. Thursday will be a seasonable day with plenty of sunshine and highs near 60 degrees.
A weak cold front moves through the area late Thursday, but won’t bring any rain. It will be and chilly Thursday night with lows ranging from 35-42 degrees.
It will be sunny, breezy, and cooler Friday with highs in the low to mid 50s. A north wind will continue at 10 to 20 mph, relaxing into the evening hours.
Winter officially arrives early Saturday morning and it will feel like it. Just about everybody will experience a light freeze. Morning lows will range from 27-33 degrees. There will be plenty of sunshine with highs in the mid to upper 50s.
A south wind picks up on Sunday and our slow warm up starts. Afternoon highs will reach the low 60s with increasing clouds by evening.
