NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Tennessee’s reputation as a top place to move held strong in 2024, landing in the top five states for migration, alongside the Carolinas, Georgia, and Idaho. In addition, Nashville was named a top city in the Moving Migration Report.
North American Moving Services did this research. According to realtors, these newcomers are a big help for stabilizing the local housing market as interest rates remain high. The RE/MAX report has prices up 5.7% for Greater Nashville.
“I would say that it’s hard to make predictions, but one that I’m very, very comfortable with is that we’re going to continue to see population growth in our market; we’re going to continue to see demand that’s driven by that population growth,” said Jeff Checko, relocation director with the Ashton Real Estate Group of RE/MAX Advantage.
