1 dead amid violent 6 car crash in Southern California

(KTLA) – A violent six-vehicle crash in Ontario has left one person dead and two others hospitalized, authorities confirmed to KTLA.

Officers with the Ontario Police Department responded to reports of the deadly collision at the intersection of Holt Boulevard and Mountain Avenue at around 9:31 a.m., police said.

Details are limited and it’s unclear exactly how the incident occurred, though surveillance cameras at a nearby business captured a portion of the violent crash, which shows two vehicles colliding, one of which had two wheels off the road.

Medical personnel rushed one of the victims to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased.

Two other victims were also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

No information on the ages or genders of the victims was provided, nor is it clear which vehicle the deceased motorist was in.
