Sacramento launches crackdown on illegal parking at bus stops to improve safety

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Starting Thursday, Sacramento is cracking down on illegal parking at bus stops with the aim of making roads safer for both drivers and pedestrians. The new program, a joint effort between Sacramento Regional Transit (SacRT) and the City of Sacramento, seeks to reduce the risk of accidents and delays caused by cars parked in bus stops or bike lanes.
