IMPERIAL BEACH, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — An investigation is underway in the South Bay after a body was found on Imperial Beach Thursday morning, authorities said.
According to officials with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called out to the beach, south of Seacoast Drive, around 7:30 a.m.
The San Diego County Medical Examiner was also called to the scene to retrieve the body. The identity of the deceased individual has not been released at this time. The cause of death has not yet been determined.
