Light snow and frigid temperatures into the weekend

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Light snow is expected Friday afternoon with a coating of up to two inches in areas of western Massachusetts.

Friday will be a cloudy day with flurries and snow showers, especially in the afternoon. The bulk of the steady snow will be done by 5 p.m. A light accumulation of snow is possible through Friday evening . Roads may have a slippery coating of snow for the Friday commute, into Friday evening. High temperatures will be in the low 30s.
