Mom Claims Daughter Was Brutally Beaten by Students at Potomac High School, Calls for Justice

A devastating incident at Potomac High School in Oxon Hill, Maryland, has left a mother heartbroken and demanding justice after a group of students reportedly attacked her daughter.

The violent assault has raised alarms over bullying and school safety, with concerns about how both school officials and law enforcement handled the situation.

According to a report by WUSA9, Juanita Caldwell’s daughter, Kayla, was severely beaten by a group of seven girls following a verbal altercation earlier in the day.

The fight escalated into a brutal attack that left Kayla with a broken nose, bruises across her body, and blood on her clothes. A cell phone video, captured by another student, shows Kayla being punched in the head while lying on the floor of a utility closet.

Juanita spoke emotionally about the incident, describing her shock when she arrived at the school to find her daughter in a state of distress, covered in blood.

“I was enraged. I was angry and just wanted to know who attacked my daughter,” she said.
