Smyrna First Baptist Church has closed on the $15.8 million sale of its nine acre campus to the city of Smyrna.
The newly acquired property — on the corner of Church and King Street — is a key part of Smyrna’s Downtown Development Authority’s campaign, “Downtown the Downtown,” which lays out a master plan to revitalize the area.
