(MA) Meet Cassio, a very lucky little pup who was named after the woman who saved his life. This 6-month-old puppy was found by an 80-year-old woman as a stray on the side of a highway. The woman stopped traffic to be able to get him and bring him to safety. Sadly, Cassio was suffering from mange at the time, prompting the Good Samaritan to rush him to the vet, where he was able to make a full recovery. Now living safely with a foster, Cassio is ready to find his furever family.
“He is named in the honor of the woman who saved him! What a story! Let’s make his story even better by finding him a loving home!” – Great Dog Rescue New England / Petfinder
