Northern Virginia lawmakers oppose temporary funding bill as government nears shutdown

ARLINGON, Va. (7News) – The Federal Government will run out of money after Friday if Congress does not pass a funding bill in time. On Thursday, several Northern Virginia members of Congress voted against legislation to fund the government for the next three months including U.S. Rep. Abigail Spanberger, U.S. Rep. Jennifer Wexton, U.S. Rep. Gerry Connolly, and U.S. Rep. Don Beyer.
