MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman is now behind bars after police say she went to a South Memphis home earlier this week, rammed into a woman’s car, slashed her tires, and fired shots into her home with her kids inside before leaving.
Christina Wright, 27, is charged with reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon and vandalism $1,000 or less. She is held in jail on a $26,250 bond.
On December 5, officers say they responded to a shots fired call in the 1100 block of Cannon Street around 4:50 a.m.
The victim told police she went outside after hearing a loud noise and that is when she saw Christina Wright running to a black vehicle.
She says she went back into the house to get her two children to safety. When she returned to the front door, she claims Wright fired four to five shots toward her before leaving in the black vehicle.
No one inside the home was hurt.
Another arrest made in Focuz Lounge Shooting
Wright is accused of damaging the victim’s back passenger side window and slashing the front driver’s side tires of her car.
