At the final concert of his Got Back Tour, music legend Paul McCartney delighted fans with a special appearance from his Beatles bandmate Ringo Starr.

Starr, alongside Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, took to the stage at London’s O2 Arena, receiving a thunderous ovation from the audience. McCartney and Starr performed two Beatles classics: “Helter Skelter” and “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.”

After the performance, Starr expressed his gratitude to the crowd, saying, “I’ve had a great night. I love you all.” McCartney bid farewell to Starr, promising to catch up soon.

McCartney and Starr are the only surviving members of The Beatles. The band’s story is told in the recently released Disney+ documentary “Beatles ’64,” which features interviews with the two musicians.

In an interview last year, Starr shared his close bond with McCartney, calling him “the brother I never had.” Starr also praised McCartney’s dedication to music, noting that he “loved to work more than all of us” during their Beatles days.
