(WJW) — A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for our primary snowbelt counties until 10 p.m. Saturday.
Pockets of heavy lake effect snow will allow for accumulation by Saturday morning and afternoon. Lake effect continues through the day Saturday before we quiet down the forecast Sunday.

Saturday, a band of lake effect will develop off of Lake Erie and Lake Huron. Within that band, low visibility, moderate to heavy snow with a NW wind gusting to 25 mph. Bands will stretch south into Portage and Trumbull Counties. Variably cloudy skies on Saturday for the rest of the area. It will be cold and breezy all weekend with wind chills in the single digits in the morning and teens in the afternoon.
