Old Town Hobbies and Games owner Joe Benitez said a man climbed onto the roof and jumped into the courtyard. To add insult to injury, Benitez said he knew exactly who the suspect was. “He had been to the store. He sold me cards before. I know who it is,” said Benitez in an interview with KRQE News 13 two weeks ago.

Police booked Bettis into the Metropolitan Detention Center. He’s being charged with aggravated burglary, larceny, and property damage.
