PLANNING THE NEXT 24 H O U R S: Temperatures will be cold today and tonight with highs in teens and lows in the single digits for some. We also will see partly cloudy skies.

EXTENDED FORECAST: Temperatures will warm up for Sunday with highs near 30, and then highs will be in the middle 30s to lower 40s for the rest of the 10-day forecast. There will be a rain/snow mix on Monday, but any precipitation that falls will be very light. After that quick system moves through, we remain quiet for Christmas Eve with a chance for rain/mix arriving later Christmas night into Thursday. Starting Thursday through that following Monday, central and southern Wisconsin will see near daily chances for rain.
