Portion of I-83 south reopen after multiple wrong-way drivers, tractor-trailer crash

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) – A portion of I-83 south closed down for several hours early Saturday morning following a crash involving multiple cars and a tractor-trailer. PennDOT says three vehicles got on I-83 at the Lemoyne exit around 1:30am, and headed north in the southbound lanes. One of the vehicles immediately realized their error and turned around, but the other two continued, crashing near the Paxton Street overpass.
