CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Colder air has returned to the Lowcountry for the first weekend of winter! With an expansive area of high pressure to our north, afternoon highs on Saturday stayed firmly below average (low to mid 50s). Overnight lows will be much colder tonight, with inland areas likely to fall into the mid to upper 20s by early Sunday morning. It will feel even colder, as wind chills areawide are expected to fall into the low to mid 20s between 12-8 AM.
