Imagine the joy of Diana Hart when she was finally reunited with her dog Abby, an entire decade after Abby went missing! It was a bittersweet journey for Diana, who never gave up hope, but also had her fears about Abby’s fate. She often wondered if Abby had found a new loving home or if something worse had happened to her. The news arrived like a bolt from the blue when the Montgomery County Animal Resource Center in Dayton, Ohio, informed Diana that they had found a severely emaciated dog who could barely stand or walk. And it was none other than Abby, now 12 years old.
