ENGLEWOOD — Englewood Methodist Church is preparing to feed more than 2,400 people on Christmas Day for its 33rd annual Free Christmas Day Dinner.
Everyone is welcome to come to the Fellowship Hall, 700 E. Dearborn St., starting at noon and going until 3 p.m.
There’s a pretty extensive menu, according to Beth Harrison.
“People can come in and sit down at a table and eat in person,” Harrison said. “Or, if people are homebound, they can call ahead of time, and we have teams of people that will make deliveries to their home.”
To schedule a homebound delivery, call 941-747-588 x101 by Dec. 25 at noon.
There’s also a take out option as well.
The lineup for dinner includes:

Harrison said there are 400 volunteers signed up to help prepare and serve Christmas dinner restaurant-style, do take-out, drive meals and shuttle people to and from the Fellowship Hall.
