Suspect flees the scene after hitting 70-year-old man crossing the street, according to police

SAN ANTONIO – A 70-year-old man is in stable condition after being hit by a vehicle while crossing the street Saturday night, according to police. At about 8:30 a.m., the man was crossing the intersection of South Zarzamora Street and West Cesar Chavez Boulevard using a crosswalk. Police say an unknown vehicle traveling north on South Zarzamora Street hit the man, failing to stop and render aid and fleeing the location.
