Columbus native Jeremy Scott Hobbs is continuing his holiday Christmas card tradition after realizing how much he missed the handwritten cards he used to exchange with family and friends.
“There’s not too many traditions left anymore and this is something that I can honestly say has been a tradition of mine since I was a kid and you don’t see a lot of people do Christmas cards anymore,” said Hobbs.
By posting on social media and asking for addressees of people who would appreciate a card, he says the response was overwhelming.
This year, Jeremy has already written over 100 cards to strangers, including military personnel and community leaders. Jeremy’s initiative are also inspiring others in the community.
