ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WANE) – Jalen Jackson scored a game-high 27 points, but Purdue Fort Wayne struggled in Sunday’s 89-58 loss at No. 24 Michigan.
The Mastodons only shot 21-of-65 (32.3%) from the floor, while also hitting 8-of-38 from beyond the arc. Defensively, Purdue Fort Wayne allowed Michigan to hit 37-of-59 (62.7%) from the floor on Sunday.
Purdue Fort Wayne was outscored 54-29 in the first half. The defensive struggles continued in the second half as the Mastodons allowed 35 points after the break.
