Christmas week to bring above average temperatures

It was a much warmer Sunday with temperatures reaching the low to mid 30s. Quite the contrast compared to 36 hours ago when temperatures were around zero. Monday will be the coolest day ahead with highs near 30 as the winds switch to the northwest. After Monday the wind switches back out of the south, and that will allow highs for the rest of the week to be in the mid to upper 30s, with overnight lows around 30. There could be a few flurries tomorrow to start the work week, but after that the next chance best chance for precipitation looks like it will come in the form of rain as we watch a system that will approach by the end of the week into the weekend.
