SATSUMA, Ala. (WKRG)- Christmas is right around the corner and this year Santa has an extra helper, a 9-year-old girl from Satsuma.
“It’s sad that everyone doesn’t get to have a good Christmas,” 9-year-old, Braleigh Davis said.
Davis woke up one morning with the realization that many others do not receive the same Christmas magic that she does. She instancy knew she wanted to help provide Christmas to someone else.
She told her mom her plan and got to work making bracelets to sell in the neighborhood. While Davis’s mom posted on Facebook asking if anyone needed a Christmas miracle.
“I thought maybe instead of buying me some stuff I thought I’d buy them some stuff to make them have a good Christmas,” Davis said.
With the $40 she collected from bracelet sales her family went to Five and Below and shopped for the 6-year-old girl who was in need this year.
“We got her some LOL dolls, Hello Kitty stuff and just some nightlight and stuff like that,” Davis said.
A lesson of giving that Davis hopes everyone will learn this Holiday Season.
