LEXINGTON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — Officials are working to help a family find housing following a house fire Sunday morning in Lexington.
According to the Lexington Fire Department (LFD), it happened just after 9 a.m. in the 600 block of Pearl Cove.

Crews said the fire appeared to start in the garage and moved its way to a bonus room above it.
Three adults and two children were displaced for the night, according to the LFD, and the Red Cross is working with them to find temporary housing.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
