NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A 27-year-old woman was charged in connection to a shooting in Norfolk Sunday morning that wounded a man.
At around 6:50 a.m., the Norfolk Police Department was dispatched to the 7600 block of Chesapeake Boulevard in reference to a gunshot victim.
Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound that was not life-threatening. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Following an investigation, detectives charged Arianna D. Duffie with malicious wounding, use of a firearm, reckless handling, and discharging a firearm in public.
She is being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
