Texas Korean Restaurant Opening Second Frisco Location

A new year means a new location for a popular Texas chain. Burning Rice is bringing its delicious Korean cuisine to Frisco in early 2025, reports Community Impact.

The 5999 Custer Road, Suite 100 restaurant will be the concept’s second Frisco home, joining an existing location on Preston Road. Construction began on the project on October 31 of 2024 and is set to wrap on December 2024 of this year. While a precise opening date is not currently available, Frisco residents can anticipate sampling Burning Rice’s cuisine at some point in January of 2025.

Burning Rice made its auspicious entrance to the Texas dining scene in The Colony in 2017. The restaurant was launched with the modest and admirable goal of making “bold Korean flavors accessible, approachable, and known to the widespread public”.

Burning Rice specializes in Bibimbop, a Korean dish of rice mixed with vegetables and proteins. The restaurant puts a unique spin on the dish by allowing guests to customize their bowls by choosing a base, protein, vegetables, toppings, and sauces.
