New Hope Church provided toys for hundreds of families whose loved ones are incarcerated.

Pauline Rogers, the co-found of the RECH Foundation, said they’ve hosted the event for more than 30 years.

“I’m the oldest of 11, and I know how my mother struggled. So, I know firsthand how tough it is as a child because all we got was brooms and mops. We used to put water on the floor trying to see who can mop up the best water spill. And so, these kids getting something other than a broom or mop, so it’s worth it,” Rogers said.
