Winter Weather Takes Aim at Christmas Plans

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – Incoming Storm:. Western Colorado is expecting a Christmas storm. The main wave of moisture is going to favor the southern and central mountain ranges. The storm is expected to cross the Utah border before sunrise on Wednesday morning. By roughly halfway through the day, a heavy impact is anticipated near the Four Corners region and Cortez. Grand Junction is expected to see moisture, but moisture down in the valleys will consist of a wintry mix of freezing rain. The Montrose area may see a light dusting of snowfall, but accumulations in the valleys will be very minimal. All four of our primary forecast locations expect a 70% chance of moisture.
