Wisconsin gas prices vary nearly 35 cents per gallon across state

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – If your plans this week include a road trip to your Christmas gathering destination, you’ll want to shop around before you gas up. The state’s average gas price for unleaded is $2.80. However, in parts of northern Wisconsin and south western Wisconsin, your more likely to pay closer to $3 a gallon. The lowest price regular unlead gas can be found in Marathon County and west central Wisconsin. Drivers there should expect to pay $2.75 or less. In Wausau, Gas Buddy shows the majority of stations are selling regular unlead for about $2.50.
