UPDATE (9:17 p.m.): One person is dead following the officer-involved shooting Sunday night.
According to the Baldwin County Major Crimes Unit, deputies conducted a traffic stop on the Baldwin Beach Express when a physical fight broke out between one person in the vehicle and two deputies with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s office.
Officials say the deputies verbally commanded the subject to stop fighting and comply with instructions. The subject then pulled out a firearm and was then shot by one of the deputies.
The subject died at the location of the traffic stop.
Officials are not releasing the individuals name, gender or age at this time.
The investigation will be conducted by the Baldwin County Major Crimes Unit.

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. ( WKRG ) — The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office confirms an officer involved shooting Sunday evening in Robertsdale.
It happened sometime before 5 p.m. on the Baldwin Beach Express near Cowling Road.
According to officials, no deputies were injured. Right now, the condition and identity of the victim are unknown.
