Duluth man faces charges in car dealership theft

A Duluth man was arrested and accused of breaking into a Mercedes Benz Car dealership and stealing a car in early December. The Gwinnett County Police Department says Kaderries Johnson, 24, was first seen walking around the dealership during the early morning hours on Dec. 3 and allegedly attempted to get into the showroom. Johnson then was seen walking into the dealership’s service area and took a bottle of water. Later, an officer found Johnson walking in the location’s parking lot at 2:40 a.m. and warned him that he could be arrested for loitering and prowling. At the time, the officer did not know that Johnson may have entered the building.
