Northern showers today; Inversions weaken

A weak storm will bring light valley rain & mountain snow to Northern Utah today. Otherwise, mostly cloudy & mild today and tomorrow, making it easy to get around and run those last minute errands!

A colder storm will move in on Christmas Eve, with wet weather likely by Tuesday evening. It won’t be a big storm, but if you’re traveling over the mountains Tuesday night into Wednesday morning be prepared for winter driving conditions.

A mix of rain & snow is likely in the valleys by Christmas morning with minor accumulations possible. As of now, it looks like a trace to 1″ is possible. So even though chances are slim, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a White Christmas!
