BALTIMORE (WBFF) – Baltimore Police, the City of Baltimore and Fraternal order of Police officials recently reached a new labor contract agreement. The agreement, which was approved last week, will provide salary increases for current members along with one-time bonuses for eligible officers. Additionally, as part of the contract, a new patrol shift will be created to provide additional coverage during high call times. Baltimore Police said the new shift, referred to as the David Shift, will increase the number of patrol officers on the street and will add additional officers working each day during evening hours.
