It was an unconventional rescue operation early this morning when the Fort Worth Fire Department had to free a horse trapped in a cattle guard. The incident unfolded in the 10000 block of Alta Vista Road and required both the fire department and the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office to coordinate their efforts.
