Mesquite Fresh Street Mex has broken ground on a new location in the West Valley set to open in spring 2025. The 1,200-square-foot restaurant at 5535 W. Baseline Road will be the 11th brick-and-mortar location for the brand in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
The Laveen restaurant will feature a grab-and-go window, a 900-square-foot patio, and a drive-thru. The menu will include tacos, burritos, quesadillas, protein bowls, and other items.
“We heard our customer base in Laveen and are thrilled to finally be able to serve our delicious food closer to home,” said Ahmad Alatrash, co-founder of Mesquite Fresh Street Mex.
Founded in 2016 by brothers Ahmad and Ahmad Alatrash, Mesquite Fresh Street Mex began as a walk-up taco stand in Old Town Scottsdale. Since then, the brand has expanded to include both sit-down and drive-thru locations throughout the Valley.
The most recent location opened in Tolleson on Dec. 7.
The menu includes family meal kits, burritos, quesadillas, frescas, and street tacos.
