ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – A series of Pacific storms will impact Alaska through the week. Many areas will see some form of winter weather, either rain, snow, or strong winds. Above normal temperatures and below normal snow levels are noted in southcentral Alaska, with Anchorage seeing a snow depth of just 7 inches. The city gets about 18 inches of snow in the month of December on average, but so far, Anchorage is at 1.5 inches.
