Having previously lived in a multi-cat household, the Scituate Animal Shelter explains that Topaz has shown herself to be comfortable around other felines. However, her reserved nature means she requires a peaceful environment where she can gradually build trust and confidence. “Topaz would not do well in a high traffic, busy environment. While not at all mean, she needs patience and time to warm up to her new person,” explains the Scituate Animal Shelter. The shelter staff also notes that she accepts gentle petting and has been slowly emerging from her shell.
