On Monday, Fox Sports analyst Tom Brady released his “3 Stars of Week 16” list, which included Vikings star wide receiver Justin Jefferson.
Of course, Brady went through Jefferson’s stats from his performance against the Seattle Seahawks, which included 10 receptions, 144 yards and 2 touchdowns.
He also gave some insight on whether the Green Bay Packers will be able to stop Jefferson in their Week 17 matchup against the Vikings, which he will be in the booth for, and his answer was simple.
“Let’s see if the Packers secondary has any answers for JJ this week,” he said. “I doubt it.”
Going into the week, Minnesota still has the chance to win the NFC North, get the No. 1 seed in the conference, and secure a first-round bye in the playoffs.
All the Vikings need to do for both of those to happen is to beat the Packers and then the Lions in Week 18, which means you can bet players like Jefferson will be firing on all cylinders.
To help Brady’s “doubt,” it’s important to note that Jefferson has very good career numbers when playing Green Bay.
