MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Tonight, thousands of EBT users are left wondering how they will feed their family after Congress let the reimbursement for stolen EBT funds expire. On Dec. 20, Congress approved the government funding bill. That did not include the extension of the EBT theft reimbursement window, which was from Oct. 1, 2022, to Dec. 20, 2024.
