Cheatham students qualify for state health competition

Cheatham County Central High School students recently participated in the regional competition and qualified for the state HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) competition, which will be held March 31-April 2 in Chattanooga. First-place finishers at regionals were: Terryn Zuck-Medical Spelling; Charlotte Hunter-Clinical Lab Specialty; Aymin Tawadrous-Medical Math; Gabriel West-Physical Therapy; Bailey Rivers-Dental Science; Ryder Allen-Health Informatics; Katelyn Lain-Clinical Nursing; Mai Parrot & Hailey Doles-CPR/First Aid. Second-place finishers were: Bryson Williams, Kobe Williams, Andrew Skinner, Juan Bolivar-HOSA Bowl; Analyn Warrick-Medical Assisting; Piper Andrews-Health Career Photography; Taylin Zuck-Pathophysiology; Danielle Sisco-Phlebotomy; Marleee Whittaker-Medical Terminology. Third-place finishers were: Walker Hobbs & Logan Kane-Forensic Science; Ryley Knox-Medical Law & Ethics; Analee Lewis-Home Health Aide; Megan Mitchell-Nursing Assisting; Georgia Hunter-Nutrition; Kayleah Shadowens & Catie Carney-Health Career Display; Emma Reeves & Delaney Rose-CERT.
