MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Madison Streets Division crews are out applying sand to residential streets as light precipitation from Monday night caused slippery roads. Streets Division explained Tuesday that the sand will help with traction. The agency said some areas with compacted layers of snow from Friday, Dec. 20, is thawing, resulting in slick conditions.
