3 injured after stabbing in Mt. Juliet, officials say

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities are investigating a stabbing incident early Tuesday morning that left three people injured, according to Mt. Juliet Police.

The incident was reported to law enforcement around 7 a.m. Tuesday in the 1600 block of Eagle Trace.

According to a press release from MJPD, the incident involved three men from Mt. Juliet, aged 18, 20 and 34. Preliminary investigations reportedly indicated that the 20-year-old arrived at the house and a physical altercation began, during which he pulled out a knife.

Officials on the scene told News 2 all three men were injured and transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. They are reportedly in serious but stable condition.

Authorities reported that charges are pending at this time.

No additional information on the motive for the stabbing was immediately available as the investigation remains ongoing.
