Recently on ” Let’s Talk About It With The Turner’s ” Host Vickie and Rob Turner spoke with founder of Lady T’s Homeless Ministry, Inc Teresa Hamilton , known as Lady T , about her journey and the challenges she faces as her mission grows amidst increasing needs of feeding the homeless.
Lady T’s commitment to serving the homeless was sparked by her observations of poverty and starvation during a trip to Nigeria . Upon returning to Georgia , she was struck by the sight of families, including children, living in tents and struggling for basic necessities. Today, she feeds nearly 1,000 homeless individuals each week, providing meals to those living in diverse and vulnerable situations, including under bridges, in parks, and in shelters.
The ongoing economic challenges have affected donations, prompting Lady T to seek additional support as she expands her outreach efforts. She indicated that since the COVID-19 pandemic, the levels of homelessness and hunger have surged, leading to significant increases in the number of people needing assistance…
