Norcross woman killed days before Christmas; suspect still on the run

NORCROSS, Ga. — Gwinnett County Police Department is still searching for a man wanted in connection with a Dec. 21 homicide in Norcross.

Police shared an update on Facebook yesterday at 2:10 p.m., seeking help from the public to locate the suspect, who is accused of fatally shooting his ex-wife.

Authorities identified the victim as Jackmerly Jouselis Hernandez-Rodriguez, 31, and the suspect as Victor Jose Yaraure Morillo, 35. Police said Morillo fled the scene in a 2016 black Toyota Corolla after the incident. The car has a missing passenger-side hubcap and a temporary license plate reading S2110371. Morillo has active warrants for malice murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony…
