How Seattle, Washington minimum wage is changing in 2025

SEATTLE – The minimum wage in Washington state and several cities, including Seattle, will go up next week as agencies adjust for inflation. Washington state minimum wage will increase to $16.66 per hour, starting Jan. 1, a 2.35% increase from 2024. The state calculates increases using the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers.
